In Chiara Boschis winery the main rules are two: to intervene as less as possible in the cellar to allow every Cru to fully let its terroir stand out and to work in the vineyard as sustainably as possible leading her to go even further from the strict rules of the Organic Certification Language.
Chiara always has this overwhelming energy which we then find in her wines, an energy always mitigated by an essential elegance. Her Barolo Cannubi, coming from probably the best exposed vineyard of the whole Cru, is always a quintessential expression of its terroir: delicate, sinuous, elegant, silky. It is her noblest wine.
Chiara and Giorgio never fail, not even in such a complicated vintage like the 2018 and the wines have the advantage of being ready and flavorful from the beginning, this time there’s no need to wait endlessly to open forgotten vintages in the cellar.
